Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1959) is an American author, and an ex-legal analyst at Fox News.
She is currently an adjunct professor of law of law at New York Law School. In the past she was an associate professor of University of Washington Law School. She provided legal commentary on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual as well as National Public Radio. She appears weekly presenter on The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs Today. The Imus breakfast shows. Legal Lis is the Legal Lis podcast and radio show.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and she graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) along with a JD at Harvard Law School.
Wiehl served as the US attorney. She served as the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She served as "the deputy chief investigator for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee at the moment of Clinton's impeachment." She was a law professor as a tenured professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle which she was the manager of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 until 2001. She was an analyst at Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
