Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian singer-songwriter. She has more than twenty albums. DiFranco classifies her music as folk-rock and alternative, but it also contains influences such as hip-hop, punk and jazz. The widely regarded feminist icon Grammy winner Ani DiFranco is considered to be the father of the DIY movement being one of the pioneers to establish her own label 1990. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23rd, 1970.
