Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen is an American singer songwriter model and actress who hails from St. Louis Missouri. She's famous for her role as Jenny Humphrey as part of the CW drama Gossip Girl, and also as the lead singer of the rock group The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been used in various films and TV shows, such as How to Be Solo Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen has one younger sister, Sloane Momsen. She trained in dance at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. In the age of 3 years old she acted professionally in an Shake 'n Bake 1997 national television commercial. Momsen's acting profession was put on hold for three years, until she landed the leading role in the film Misconceptions. In addition, at the time Momsen made an appearance in the 2006 movie Saving Shiloh. Momsen also tried out for the role of Hannah Montana's title character Hannah Montana and was in the top three. However, it was given the role to Miley Cyrus.
