Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress who is well-known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s TV show Gilligan's Island. Her stage career began in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions, before becoming big on the national theatre scene with Li'l Abner's in 1957. The same year, she released her first musical album, This is Tina Time. Louise was first seen in Hollywood in God's Little Acre, a film that was released in the year 1958. She performed the role of Griselda the main character of the film. During this time she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. She signed on with CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise had a long and successful career that combines Broadway TV with Hollywood and portraying somber in contrast to the glamorous image that she had been portrayed as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she's also earned her name as a successful director in numerous well-known TV shows like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28th 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto when she was three where she subsequently spent in the adolescent years and childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision for the lead role.
