Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has won numerous awards for her writing and design. She advocates animal rights. Ali MacGraw is famous for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. Born and raised in an artistic family living in New York she wished to be a part of the arts. Beginning, she worked as a assistant to photographers. In the future she shifted her focus into directing and modeling. Her first two movies were noticed, and she was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 feature film Love Story was an international smash, and earned the actress the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. After only three movies, she was voted the Top female box-office debut in the world. The handprints of her signature, as well as footprints were immortalized in 1972 by Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, along with other films. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married three occasions.
